During this period I became increasingly focused on achieving greater detail in tones and color accuracy. I began to use cyanotype beneath magenta and yellow layers for tri-color separations. By late fall, I discovered a multiple toning technique to fill out the values of the prints, seen in the first two examples on this page. I continue to use the multi-tone method today.
