These are sea gulls on the beach at South Padre Island. Some brush strokes remained in this print from the coating process, but they help the image to feel hand made. I love the buildings as they recede into the bluish haze of the horizon, and the diagonal path the birds seem to trace across the scene. This image looks very three dimensional, probably because of the wet reflections on the sand.
