This obviously is shot from the airplane window. I used magenta, yellow, and gray layers to build the colors and tones. The land below is New Jersey I believe. This was photographed just at or around sunset with a slow shutter speed, and the jostling motion of the plane can bee seen in the motion blur of the lights on the ground.
