This is my brother and my friend standing on a balcony as the sun sets behind them over the Texas mainland. This was shot at South Padre Island. This was one of my first Gum prints to try to capture value detail in the darker and lighter areas and keep accurate color. It was going along splendidly, then staining after a few layers slightly muddled up the sky. My negatives weren't perfect yet and you can see the darkest part of the image (my friend on the left's jacket) is lighter then the totally exposed border around the image. Its a wonderful print none the less!
