Photo InfoThis is a part of the Ft. Worth Water Gardens. This area is a large open space perhaps 20 or 30 feet below ground level. The surrounding walls are at slight angles to allow water to flow over them and to reflect sound upwards and out of the space. The walls are followed by numerous cyprus trees, also helping absorb sound waves. It is a very quiet and still place. It is an intended stark contrast to the rushing waterfalls on the opposite side of the water gardens. |
