This is an Image of my backyard with my two dogs waiting to be fed. This is a rectilinear panorama, whereas most other panoramas I make are cylindrical. This distorts objects nearer to the edges of the frame and generally I do not prefer that. However, the distortion suits this image well and pushes the yard far into the background. The horizontal lines of the deck are slightly tipped like the fence in the back. Everything in this image is kind of crooked and I like that. The bottom concrete is very solid and flat. It is echoed by the shape of the deck above it, hollowed out with slats, revealing the branches of the tree and sky behind it. The small food dish and the potted plant are similar in shape and size and play off each other in a balancing act, so to does the table and the dog house.
