Weekly Classes
From March 23rd to June 4th, I will be teaching art classes for children, teens, and adults at Elm Street Studio in Keller, Texas. The classes meet once a week for 11 weeks. Class sizes are small so there is plenty of room for individual attention. All materials are provided.
Lessons are geared toward specific age groups and explore a variety of artistic media including markers, color pencil, graphite pencils, and oil pastel. The lessons focus on realistic drawing, with subject matter including animals, people, places, and other artistic styles.

- Mondays - 4:15-5:15pm
- Drawing Fundamentals | 8 to 12 year olds - $200
- Mondays - 5:30 to 7pm
- Thursdays - 4:15-5:45pm
- Teen Adult Drawing| 12 years and up - $250
- Thursdays - 6 to 8pm
- Cartooning| 8 to 12 year olds - $200
- Tuesdays - 4:15 to 5:45pm
- Blender 3D Animation| 10 years and up - $220
- Wednesdays - 6 to 8pm
- Acrylic/Watercolor Painting| 8 years and up - $290
- Tuesdays - 5 to 7pm
My students affectionately call me Mr. Billy. I have been an art instructor at the Keller Monart School of Art since 2008. Before that I studied at Southern Methodist University receiving my bachelors degree in studio art in 2005. I have helped hundreds of students to develop their drawing skills and explore other forms of artistic expression.
Benefits of making Art
Art isn't only about making masterpieces. Drawing a picture can be a way to learn about a new thing, or explore a new idea. Aside from artistic skills, making art also teaches important life skills like problem solving, creative thinking, concentration, and self confidence. Oh yeah, and it's a lot of fun!
