Digital Color - March 2007
Photo Info
A dust storm blew in on an extremely windy day. I've been in Texas for 19 years and never have seen such a thing. You could taste and smell the dirt in the air it was so thick. The sky was a salmon color somewhat similar to the Martian atmosphere, and the sun by a quirk of color perception appeared blue. By shooting in RAW I was able to retain the colors.
I went out and actually needed a handkerchief to breathe comfortably. I put the cowboy hat on purely for show.
