35mm Color - March 2004Photo InfoThis was a 30 second exposure of the moon rising over the Gulf of Mexico. The moon almost looks like the sun because the reddish color of dust in the atmosphere does not change much from day to night other then the brightness. The long exposure helped to bring out color and detail like the clouds which you could not see very well (if at all) in person. The beach sand was lit by a lamp on the lower part of the building
